Petal Book Lapbook Templates
Petal books are a fun addition to any lapbook. They are harder to cut and fold, but when they are open, they create a stunning presentation.
Each shape has a small version and a large version. You may want to reserve the smaller versions for older students as they will have an easier time manipulating them.
Typically, only the inside of petal books are used for writing. Students can write the title (or a question) in the middle of the open book and then the open petals can be used for details or supporting information.
Triangle Petal Books
Triangle Petal Books have three spaces for information. This makes them perfect for topics with three answers.

The hexagons are my favorite as they remind me of flowers. They would be fun in a lapbook about pollinators or gardening.
These books include a space in the middle for a title or question and six petals to record details or answers.
