Months of the Year Lapbook Printables
The following mini-books are included in the file so that your student can create a Months of the Year Lapbook:
- Months Cards and Pocket
Your student can use these cards to put the months of the year in order: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December.
- Seasons Poem Flap Book
This includes a flap book with winter, spring, summer, and fall flaps. Your student will cut and paste parts of a poem behind each flap. This will teach your student which months are part of each season. - Months Chant Simple Fold Book
Reinforce the order of the months with this fun chant:
January
February
March, April, May
June, July, and August
are coming our way!
September, October, November,
and then
December makes a year.
We start again!
- Months Writing Strip
Laminate the strip and give your student a dry erase marker to write a capital letter at the beginning of each month. Wipe and repeat! - Important Days Mini-book
- How Many Days in Each Month Simple Fold Book
Your student will paste the following poem inside the mini-book:
Thirty days has September,
April, June, and November;
All the rest have thirty-one,
But February, which is fun:
With twenty-eight, it does just fine
‘Til Leap Year makes it twenty-nine!
