Why Should I Use Playdough with My Students?
Playdough isn’t just a fun, boredom busting activity, it is a tool for nurturing your child’s growth. Building with playdough can improve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It can also boost social skills (as children work side by side) and supports creative thinking.
What’s Included in the Playdough Challenge Cards?
This free printable includes 28 playdough task cards to spark your child’s imagination and improve fine motor skills. Your child will sculpt animals, create foods, and build in new and imaginative ways.
Each challenge can be completed with your child’s unique ideas and creativity.
For instance, your student might choose “Make something with a square.” She could make a window, a quilt, a waffle, or a slice of cheese.
Your student might choose “Make a pie.” He could make a pumpkin pie, a cherry pie, or an apple pie. It could have a lattice crust or no crust. It could be a slice of pie or an entire pie. The possibilities are endless. Encourage your kids to be creative.
